Commissions. GEAR x HEART.

May 3, 2012  |  by UACGC  |  No Comments

Gears, hearts and babies… I’ll explain this if you really want me to, it is simply elaborate. Think of the number 9, what it means to a pregnant woman, the transition from embryo to human, the male take on accepting the fact you are going to be a dad and the overall “oh shit” of life in general. Jay surprised his lady Mags with this via me hanging it in their anniversary suite at the Hilton not long ago. It was well received.

Bum’s 30th Appy Day night time photo recap

March 28, 2012  |  by UACGC  |  No Comments

SO, a bit ago my “old lady” became my ” Old Lady”, caps mean you’ve hit the 30+ age limit for nicknames being capitalized… hold strong to that kids. Needless to say we required a party and what better theme than Almost Famous? ANNNNND I finally got to use my moon tower photo booth constructed from the old fence lining our alley along with some props (first and last time we ever used this unless you count Bum’s and my first trial run a while ago).

Couple photos from the moon tower below, quick edit.

Yup… Megan will be turning 30 for her remaining birthdays, fyi.

Figured things were too slim around here so in light of my having things to blog about again I’ve extended the image/video space by 200px! Yeah yeah Richie… who fuckin’ cares right? I did it for you man. Anyway, new condo, new studio space, new paintings, new new new… 2012 will be a rad year.

If you doubt this Jeff Gordon will squeeze Gooniebird. More to come soon.

Another one off the bucket list, although I can’t post images right now this edit was featured on Surfline.com gaining over 20k views in a day… stoked to have made the main page. Thanks to John Oda and Devon Howard for making it possible + huge respect to John John for being the youngest person to win the Triple Crown.

Tons of updates to post… technical errors.

Too bust to blog and a photo.

July 26, 2011  |  by UACGC  |  No Comments

I’ve once again not blogged anything I’ve been up to so here is a quick update, maybe a photo might find its way in… probably not. Last couple weeks have been all about shooting everything for Spy’s sunglass and mx catalogs… can’t post photos. This week started off with more mx catalog photos then shooting Ken Block practicing and dialing in his new “hybrid” for X-Games over in a back lot at Fontana Speedway. Then back to the office to upload it all ending the day with a quick shoot for our Vice ad. Thursday is all about the Optical shoot then it’s back to LA to shoot some FMX and some more Block shit. Loving it all. Wishing I could get more into the graphite drawing I’m attempting to make time for on top of finalizing some paintings that have been sitting on the sidelines for a couple months.

I did however get the chance this weekend to spend some time with our soon to be Shell Beach residents Ian and Gisele for her birthday and their see you later brunch. That was rad, got in a quick run through of the Art In The Streets exhibition at MOCA… forgot to bring my good camera but Megan snagged this shot of me praying with the amazing mind of Banksy via my iPhone. I’ll end it with that.
